Trident Relief Valve
The Trident System is the first system to incorporate a fully proportional control system that feeds the air into the relief valve, slowly allowing the pump flow rate to increase and visa versa decrease in a controlled manner.
The control system monitors both flow rate from the meter and line pressure. Having this information available, the line pressure and flow rate can be controlled up to any required pressure or flow rate and importantly at a controlled rate.
When used with a preset delivery the flow rate can be reduced in a controlled manner so a very accurate cut off can be achieved. Shock loading of the hydraulic system is also removed stopping excessive loading on pipe joints etc.
